Who I am
I'm Christopher Walis. 26 years old, I work full time as an Assistant Store Manager at a local grocery store within the district. I'm a lifelong resident and graduate of West Babylon. At my young age, I know what it feels like to work full time at a regular job, and still barely scrape by. I'm not just running to make Long Island affordable for you, I'm also doing it for myself.

Growing up in a household with a single mom, we've always knew the meaning of hard work and barely getting by. I've always felt that legislators could never relate to the working person, even when they claim to. I'm not someone who comes from a background of high education, I'm someone who worked himself not as choice, but a means of survival.
I know what it's like to get the short end of the stick, to be represented by politicians that don't know what the meaning of hard work is.

With this position, I would represent families like my own that are fighting to afford this island.
